right, got a scenario for you expert players...
who came 2nd and 3rd?????
scenario 1.
player A has 70 chips
player B has 61 chips
player C has 19 chips
final round, we ALL went in, all chips in the middle.
you dont need to know the cards as we know....
player A won beating both B and C.
however player C beat player B.
who came 2nd? should be player B right. ????
as B has 61chips - 19chips OR 42chips-38chips more than C
scenario 2. (for my future reference)
again like above all in but
Player A 70 chips
Player B 50 chips
Player C 30 chips
A wins, C beats B again.
who came 2nd and 3rd??
not sure wether C would get double chips ie: c-60 and B-20. so therefor C wins now.
i hope that makes sense. please only answer if you 100% sure.
THANKS

Player B comes in second in both scenarios. It doesn't matter which of their two hands is best.. if they're both eliminated simultaneously the only thing that matters is who had more chips at the start of the hand. In both cases that's player B.

True dat.
On a side note, I thought Who was on first? What was 2nd and I don't know was 3rd.
I'll get my coat

Understand what supa's saying is for tournament play payouts; the person who started the hand with more chips is given the higher payout spot.
In a cash game, it doesn't matter who's second or third, A's got all their money.
I'm guessing from this you might want to search the forum for some information on creating and managing side pots, though. Could it be that's what you're really after?

nope, dont care if its tournament play or cash play, dont really know the difference anyway, we all started of with $20 worth of chips each from the begining.
its just a friendly family and friend game. we all agreed before we started that who ever wins gets X amount and runner up gets Y amount.
hence why i needed to know who came 2nd.
