stole the words out of my mouth...

re-raise on the turn - a decent amount too.

The way I figure it, if you're raising on the turn, you're simultaneously making the BEST of a possibly bad situation, OR extracting more value from a great situation. Either way it's great.

In the best of times, you're making a nicer chunk of change from when you hit your good hands (he'll have to pay you off to see the river)

and at the worst of times, you're raising and taking some of the pressure off of yourself and taking control of the hand. if he has a good hand (like yours) but not the nuts, chances are you're getting a good deal of fold equity, not to mention your superior position - this lets you check behind him on the river if he chooses to check in front IF you're unsure of your hand. win win.

Gosh I'm smart =)

Well AA and KK are unlikely, although I have seen them slow played a lot more at very low limit. I think the limit is important here because I’ve played a bit of 5c-10c NL and found most players holding Jx here would think they must be ahead, despite what the action tells them.

Like everyone else I'd raise the turn (I think 66 is unlikely enough to just call on the flop).

The river is a bit of a kick in the teeth. You’re most likely looking at a split pot now Sad The question is does he realise his kicker problem has just gone away? I think he’ll call even a large raise with any Jack.

The problem with this hand is I put him on a Jack, I just didn't know what he had with it. KJ and AJ were the highest possiblities in my mind since I had one of the Q's. With this in mind, I figured a bet wouldn't get him to fold after the turn.

I failed to consider that he could have a pretty random hand from the big blind which would have made me much more likely to raise the turn.
