The thing I'm questioning is my $15 bet on the turn. I felt good about it at the time, but reading the hand history it looks a little reckless. I guess it was risky, but he just called the raise on the flop. I figured if he hadn't paired the board he would have had to lay it down even if he was holding an A. If he hit 2 pair, a set, or the straight, my bet was enough that he would have raised it up.
I believed him to be on a draw and thought $15 was clearly enough to get him off of it (also noting that the A gave me the nut straight draw as well). Was that too much of a risk?
As it turns out, I was amazed when he called and then folded without even bothering to check after the river came down. I asked what he was chasing and he said he had 2 clubs and a straight draw.
Oh well, lucky me this time...was this a foolish play though?

Looks fine, extremely scary board.
I think you have to bet the turn since it's so draw heavy, and if you check you may get a river bluff bet, which could be difficult to have.
The hope is you can buy a free showdown here (which you did), and that you probably have the best hand (which you did).
If he has the jack, you're blocking two of his outs which is nice
