Looking for a good book thats easy to read and follow for NL cash games...I have been playing for over 6 months and just a guide to go to the next level.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Read Doyle's first book (with heavy grain of salt, realizing this was pre-internet and live game was much different).
Then read Doyle's second book.

I would also give Harrington's books a try. For sure the first one at least. I realize these are geared for NL tournaments, but a lot of the concepts and examples could apply to cash games as well.

I recieved Harrington's book on Thursday and have read it once, I must say it's a great book, very easy to follow and it has completely changed my strategy. I HIGHLY recommend this book to any beginner to either tournament or cash games.
thanks for the info guys!
