In my opinion, Caro's Poker Tells is one in the list of essentials in a serious poker player's library along with Theory of Poker, Super System, and the Harrington Books (if you are a tournament player).

Yeah, I'd say its a very good book if you play live games.

+ its nice to sometimes focus on something in else poker than equity and EV. Smile

I think they are nice books. HoH is a must these days, don't leave home without it. SS1is..well...maybe not so good, but its a nice read and looks nice in the bookshelf. Also got a pretty cool 7-card stud section by Reece, which is undoubtedly one of the greatest cash game players in the world. I've heard that section is still good stuff. If you are thinking about SS2, I don't know anything about it.

Theory of poker...is....simply outstanding.

Nice work on the Omaha Tourney. I recently bought two books but haven't read them yet. I bought 7-Card Stud for Advanced Players by Slansky and I finally got SS2. We have a PLO8 game tomorrow and I want to freshen up on it Smile.

If you can afford it, buy it.

However for those who can’t afford it I’d suggest checking out Mike Caro’s site. It has dozens of video clip tutorials covering individual tells and they’re all free to download Smile

I don’t have the link at work and IIRC they’re not very easy to navigate too Sad but I’ll look it up and post it tonight if I remember.
