Was this really that bad of a call?

Posted Sat Feb 11, 2006 2:43 pm GMT by Magra
This was my 8th hand at the table, so no set-in-stone reads. From what I saw, Villain was decently loose(5/8 hands played to flop) and passive. I don't think it was a bad call, but he/she went on to berate me for the remaining time at the table.

Was it a bad call? No way, considering the the size of your stack. I thought you played the hand well, you bet a liitle over 1/2 the pot on the flop which induced a bad call from your opponent. You got your money in as a favorite, what more can you ask for?

NH, sir Wink

Yeah, your opponent did a couple of horrible bad calls.

Oh, we were talking about you?

Heaven's no, you didn't have that much left in your stack, a good solid overpair and a gutshot straight draw. NH. Though I would have bet more on the flop.
