During a tournament today I made a pretty big lay down because I thought I was beat because of such a dangerous board. I folded two pair which would have become a full house on the river :p And even the two pair would have won the pot.
The blinds were 10/20
Player A bets 60
I had 10,9offsuit and decided to change things up and called
Player B calls
the flops comes 10,9,J (two of them are hearts)
I forget what I bet, but I believe somewhere between 60-10
Player B calls
Player C raises another 100 or so
I and Player C call
The flop came q/k of spades
Player B goes all-in, and I fold because the board was extremely dangerous, 3 consecutive cards and 3 spades.
Player A folds and player B shows a Q/K
Was my play to conservative? Both players showed strength throughout the entire hand.
Sorry for the horrible history I made, hopefully you guys can understand it.

Your laydown seems pretty standard to me if I understand the hand history correctly. With a hand like T9, you want an uncoordinated flop to steal and make a deceptive play. When the board becomes dangerous, it's time to bail out and wait for a better spot.

I think that there are too many hands that beat you in that situation so i like your fold.

Your post is a little confusing, are you saying the board was 9 T J Q K?

Sorry, I meant to say the turn was either a Q or K, I just forgot which card it was. Then later on I meant to say that Player B showed that he had a Q or K, which ever one matched the turn.
