Man, I was pissing people off Saturday night. Every one
bought in 10 bucks, just .25 .50 NL holdem, I ended up
leaving with 54.50. 8 people, but people were coming/
going, switching seats, laps etc. I was hitting hands like
nobodys business. I was playing good hands and mucking
bad ones, or long-shot draws. Pretty much playing ultra
conservative. I set up about 3 good bear traps, those
helped out alot, then I just sat real tight on what I got.
So, when I would win, the people would get all pissy. I
started off saying stuff like ' sorry man, damn, tough
game ' Then I got sick of their big bottom lips stickin
out. Any one of them would take me down with a big
fat smile, and I'd say 'nice' , But If I took them down
when they try to bulldoze me, they'd get all boohoo.
So, I stopped being nice. I was like pac-man eatin up
their chips.
It was fun, but it's kind of funny when someone tries to
bluff you out of your nuts, then they get all huffy. It was
such an easy game. All friends, so no hard feelings, but
I have a big target on me for the next game, just like I
always do with these fruitcakes.
