Specifically referring to the jackpot tables on Party since that is where I play, but I'm sure it's the same everywhere:
If you are going to be playing $2/4 or higher limit, is there any reason not to play on the bad beat/high hand jackpot tables? Is the rake higher or something?

If I remember correctly, the rake is higher, but I'm not 100% certain on that. In fact I thought it was actually a seperate rake.

An extra .50 per pot. In the long run that will really add up. Of course you only need to hit the jackpot once to make it worth it. I'll throw a few bucks on one of these tables when the jackpot is very high.

There is a higher rake as Skribbles has said, but there is also looser play and it can be more profitable at times to play these tables just for that looser play.
