The most insane $4-$8 Live Game last night. |

Live $4-$8 w/ $6-$12 Kill.
The pots were getting capped preflop with a family of 9 just about every hand. One guy at the table had about $1000+ in chips on the table and he probably bought in for a rack. Every hand he played was golden. He won a $300 pot with a suited 52 flush. Me on the other hand (a tight player), lost $220 in 3 hours. Paying $16 to see the flop with pocket pairs and suited connectors and not hitting killed me. But if my cards were hot, I would of been on fire with that kind of action. It seems like I have the worst luck when tables get loose aggressive.

Sounds the same as the $4/8 game I've played at the Casino a few times.
8-9 people seeing every flop w/ 4-5 going to showdown. You cannot beat this game unless you get great cards.

That's how the $4/8 game is at the poker club in town here, just crazy. My goal is to build up a healthy bankroll before I go back there.

i played a 1/2 NL game just like that last night. 10 handed and it wasn't anything for 8 people to be limping in to every pot. it was crazy. a couple guys were $200+ deep and the buy-in was capped at $40.

That's how the live game was Saturday at the boats, it was a spread 1-4,8,8 game but the fact remains, if you don't get any cards you can't beat the game.
