Yep.

Before the flop, not too bad. After the flop it would be -EV, methinks.

That sucks.

You should probably quit playing.

Doh!
Still a good fold preflop though. Sucks the board did that to you. Couldn't they at least have been all hearts or something?

The EV was not +1. Therefore you must fold.
Seriously though, I don't think this is where you want to put in that much more money.

I think you made the right decision.

Good fold, bad flop Sucks laying down a winning had (Winning monster hand) But the cards can slap you in the face, even when their dead

It’s also risky to bet the idiot end of the royal flush...

It's a good fold. Risking your chip lead against second chip leader with a marginal hand, you made a good fold. A raise of 200-300, I would've probably called, but not 585.
Same thing happened to me, so I know how you feel. I had AJs. Two people started raising/reraising each other, and went all-in so I folded. Thing is, they had A7 vs. K9, I had a slight advantage preflop, and certainly leading after the flop when it gave me the royal.

Ouch
Good fold though for sure. How often are you gonna get a flop like that with that hand?

Good point. I'm not sure how much heat that hand could stand up to if it got a lot of action on the flop. I'd be concerned about the 2 3 wrap-around straight flush.

Doesnt the J10 letter/number combo eliminate the wrap straight and bring us back to +1 EV?

The 10 doesn't count as a number as it can be represented by the letter T. Sorry to burst you bubble.

I hope if any newbies read this that they can sense the sarcasm. It would be terrible to think we've led them astray with a wrap-around.
