so my cell phone has the game jacks or better video poker...im wondering when a situation like this comes up, what do you do
you get Q53K8
do you keep both the Q and K or just one? (no flush draw)

Assuming standard payouts you keep both.

In vegas this isn't a bad way to get loaded for about $20, the only reason I play video poker.

Last time I was in vegas I had to meet my friends down at the bar. The bartender told me to throw a buck or two into the video poker game so I could get free drinks and I did so.
Second hand I hit quads... third hand I hit quads!  I quickly cashed out for 90 bucks and a free beer!

Oh boy...do they ever....but I wouldn't know about those. Pervs like Zinno and Soup have told me they do. I think I also saw a post on here where some other members were talking about strippers. Personally I have to much respect for females to just oggle their bodies....  :D.

I beg your pardon.... it's not oggling. It's admiration of the subtle beauty and lines that is the female form. Purely for artistic sense.

If you play the right game w/ the correct odds and play correct strategy, a player can have a slight edge in video poker.
It is the one game in casinos w/ zero house edge.

True, but these machines, last time I checked (which was admittedly a couple of years ago) were few and far between. A few casinos had them, and they usually had a only a few with the favorable odds tucked away in a corner somewhere. that wizardofodds.com guy had some good writeups on it on his site, plus I think a running list of where to find the machines.

never won at Vidoe poker.
And i Thought Craps the Casino had No Edge on?
anyways Read in the newest Cardplayer they have POker at one of the Stripclubs now

Craps still has a house edge. But there are certain bets that are true odds.

For table games, (not counting poker rooms) craps has the best odds for the player. The problem with craps is you need a decent bankroll to survive the swings.
