Hmmm...now you might have to think about it some. Does someone have a 6? Doubtful, but it is a distinct possibility. I bet around 10. You want to make this size bet to give any possible diamond draws bad odds to chase. If someone was drawing to the straight, they have made it, but you have a redraw to a higher straight. Also, you want to make this size bet to give any possible diamond draws bad odds to chase.
I'm guessing you made a lot of Sklansky $$$ on this hand.

Well, at this point I am getting suspicious. That, and I *hate* TT. I think I smell at least one overpair. A six out there? I dont think so unless its 66. skatework is crafty, I think he might be an overpair. budyboy seems donkish, I cant put him on anything which bugs me. I decide to let someone else make the first move here.
ADK_Rick checks.
skatework bets $7.
budyboy1 calls $7.
ADK_Rick ? pot is $27.25

Wow wow wow. You have gotten yourself into a pickle here. (I would have played it EXACTLE as you have so far.)
You've got $4 invested into this pot and two people betting into you. To be honest I think I would fold at this point. Sure you may have the winning hand but it sure looks like your on track to losing your stack. I would muck it and look for a better situation.

You may still have the best hand and if you don't you do have a draw to the best hand, this is a nice pot and with 2 other people in it you have odds to call, so call.

Well well we have disagreement in the ranks, and that's good because that is the way I felt about this hand from the moment it hit the felt. Here's what I did next, for better or worse....(remember, not that it should matter, that I am already up about 4 buyins so I am a little more apt to gamble). Reminder, I hold T T and the board is 8 9 5 7 ]
ADK_Rick calls $7.
** Dealing River ** 7
budyboy1 checks.
ADK_Rick ? pot is $34.25 and I have $14.25 left in my stack

I say push it in. I doubt the additional seven turned anyone's losing hand into a winner and it may have made you a winner over someone's 2 pair. If someone has the straight you were already toast. Push it in and pray.

That's exactly what happened, even though I was 75% sure that I was toast at this point. I was hoping at least one opponent or (gasp!) even both had just unpaired overcards. Sadly, not the case. But I thought that this move was good for my table image as I had been getting a few comments about how tight I was. Oh, and the really funny thing...at this very moment I was doubling up on my other table with......66.
ADK_Rick is all-In $14.35
skatework is all-In $23.13
budyboy1 is all-In $19.17
budyboy1 shows A A two pairs, aces and sevens.
ADK_Rick doesn't show T T two pairs, tens and sevens.
skatework shows 6 6 a straight, five to nine.
skatework wins $3.96 from side pot #2 with a straight, five to nine.
skatework wins $9.64 from side pot #1 with a straight, five to nine.
skatework wins $74.30 from the main pot with a straight, five to nine.
Budy donked his AA up big time and skate just got lucky.

Ditto...
With that many callers on the flop, you need to fold to an agressive turn bet with a terrible board.

No argument from me. And dont think I didnt want to...it was one of those moments where my brain said fold and then I heard a click and there I was calling like a stubborn ass.

Yeah, the more I think about it the funnier it is. Its like Larry Moe and Curly played a hand of hold 'em and each tried to play worse than the guy next to him. What the hell is AA thinking just calling preflop? I raise that shit up big and no one ever sees the flop. 66 calls a sizeable post flop bet with only a gutshot when he must have known there was at least one big pair out there. And me with my TT (god I hate TT) calling that turn bet knowing in my heart that I'm beat. Poorly played poker at its finest, but the most poorly played by AA, who if he plays his hand properly this hand never happens to begin with.
