I am confident in my ability , but I think its the safe play.I will let u guys know if i won it outright later. Taken long enough to play though lasted 5hrs so far!

I won it , he took a nice lead and my agressive style wasnt working as he was hitting every hand lol. But i clawed my way back, getting lucky with A4 vs 99. Took a nice lead , and re raised him his stack with a KJ and beat his 99. $1150 won, not bad really. 256 runners though makes it really long, think i had to beat 8 people to win it. I would reccomend it to anyone , good tourney.

Variance is so high at the end of tournaments that I think chopping is generally a good idea, unless you have a big lead AND you're very confident you can play the other guy like a harp.

u never have lead at end of a HU tourney, both join with the same amount of chips.

To place in these, do you guys find yourself fighting for every hand early, or letting the blinds creep a little before you come out of the gate?

I kinda limp the first few pots just see what the opponent like. I play the button really strong and dont raise so much from bb.It works quite well cos , i will check alot of good hands and let him try and be agressor from button and win nice pots from checking my nhs to him from bb.
The blinds are really small compared to the stack, so theres alot of play.
