that happened to me in my first hand in a 30 man live tourney at a buddys house. I had A - 10, he had pocket jacks, I flopped a straight and he flopped trips, he pushed, I called and he hit a Q.

that sucks....gotta love overbetting....
however, no matter wut you woulda done, i doubt you coulda got the guy w/ the set of hooks off the pot....and he had about a 1 in 5 chance of getting a boat, or quads....you prolly woulda lost a lot of chips no matter wut

615-pleayer tournament, 60 places paid, 32 players left. I have average, he has average.
Me: AT
Him: KJ
Flop: KQJ, he goes all-in, I call.
Turn: J, ouch.
I'm out 32th, just like that.
