Was at the library and saw this book. Picked it up and started reading it as soon as I got home. 1/3 into the book I realized I was hoping to find something better to do. I didn't find it that interesting.
Obviously, it's more of an autobiography. Not much of any strategy other than "Poker Tips" scattered throughout the book. The end section has some "how to play" and rules. "Poker Strategy" takes up all of 4 pages.
It's pretty much 2 stories in one book. The even numbered chapters are her autobiography/memoirs. The odd numbered chapters recount her tournament life at the 2004 WSOP $2,000 Omaha Hi-Lo Split (for which she took the bracelet). The last chapter recounts her victory at the 2004 WSOP Tournament of Champions (against Phil Hellmuth Jr).
On a 1-10 scale I'd give it a 4.5 Nothing really interesting. She did touch on the beef that Daniel Negraneau started with her in his blog. At the end of the book is an interesting section on "Players to watch" where she gives brief descriptions about some people named in the book. One notable entry:
Andy Beal: not referred to by his name, just "the famous Texan billionare" . (who's a fish, so I don't want to name him). Todd Brunson crushes him a lot.
