Seriously though I’d probably get scare by those flat calls and be tempted to slow up (unless I’d seen the guy play like this before). What did you put him on?

Jjversus was tough, maybe a pp, draw or weak ace. He had made some very loose calls on the flop in previous hands, and he had played his big hands very straight forward. I had the one who stuck around till the end on Ax, and I knew that if he had an ace he would stick around till the end. I knew he was a total donk, but had not yet realised just how big of a donk he was.
Sure I might be beat, that's why I only bet €4 into a €10 pot on the turn. I figured it was enough to make the gut-shot pay without committing myself entirely. After the more reasonable of the two folded, though, I was pretty sure I had the best hand.
