Well, I think you can also order these straight from their website also. It's a WPT Chip Set... aluminum case, 300 chips, 11.5 gram... for $44.95.
I think it's a good deal... never bought chips before. It's at the Gambler's General Store. Website by same name.
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

11.5 gram is typically code for "Cheap plastic chips with metal slug insert". They are some form of the "Dice" chip that you can buy on ebay for 90 cents (plus $60 shipping).
Real casino weight is typically around 9-10 grams for clay and 10-11 for ceramic.

The man lives in Las Vegas. That's like wondering why a dairy farmer doesn't buy milk.
