My bankroll has now grown enough to allow me to try moving up to $20NL. So last night I gave it a go, things were going okay until this hand:
Hero BB K K
4 limpers + SB
Pot $1.20
Hero raises $1
2 callers, MP and Button.
Flop:3 3 4 rainbow
Pot: $4.20
Hero bets $3.20
MP folds
Button calls
Turn: 6
Pot: $10.60
Hero bets: $5
Button calls all-in for $4.80
Button shows A 6
River 6
Button collects $20.20 with full house sixes over threes.
A couple of hands later I pick up another bad beat with QQ that takes me down to $6. I decided to call it a day at that point. I am going to stick to these limits though, well unless I lose so much my bankroll forces me down.

Its kind of your own fault. A $1 raise is not enough to get anyone off their hand you should have made a decent raise.

Do you know what the blinds are at $20NL? The Big blind was probably $.25, so a $1 is a very good sized raise.

Actually, at $20NL, the blinds should be .10/.20. He made a 5*bb raise.
