I just thought i'd share this with you.
I used to play alot of online tourneys, free ones to try and get better at then game. Well i used to usually go out of the tourneys with a bad feeling, nearly always because i know i shouldn't have made the play that put me out.
Well i have recently started playing again and have found that i tend to finish much later in the tourney and also when i go out i am usually fine with it. I am now near as dammit makijng the right decisions all then time and find that when i go out it is more bad luck than mis judgement.
I actually feel that i am a much more professional tourney player than i used to be, more confident, knowing what im doing.
So did any of you guys feel you it a similar landmark to that of mine?
Do you think this is a really strong indication that im getting good, judging by the way i am exiting tourneys?
Dave
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Yeah, I think so, and it is a good sign for all poker players.
A similar experience for me is when individual hands didn't matter anymore and I rarely questioned my own play. I (most of the time) knew what to do, any mistakes I do won't be _horrible_ and the results after that are just...results.
So you get this 'relaxed' relationship to the hand which I think is a very good feeling at the tables.
