This Saturday I'm doing a tourney/cash game in lieu of some other corny b-day celebration. I was looking for some commentary or feedback on structures, particularly the tourney, since I don't usually set any up.
Tourney - $20
5,000 starting stack
20 - $25 chips
20 - $100
5 - $500
Levels - 20 mins each
25/50
50/100
100/200
200/400
300/600
500/1000
800/1600
1000/2000
1500/3000
2500/5000
Payout
Less than 10 people -
1st - 60%
2nd - 25%
3rd - 15%
More than 10 people -
1st - 60%
2nd - 30%
3rd - 10%
I personally want this to last at max 3 hours (I'm not too much of a tourney guy).
Cash game afterwards
NL Holdem
.25/.50 blinds
$30 min, $60 max buy in
Dealer's Choice spread limit
.25/.50 blinds, .25 ante
$2 max raise
Was planning on playing the tourney, then NL Holdem, which my group usually never plays, and then dealer's choice, which is what we always play (fixed limit).
So comments, concerns and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry for the long post.

HomePokerTourney.com has blind structures, etc for home tourneys- they have formula's for how long you want each level to be (15min/20min/30min) based on how long you want the tourney to last
Basic rule of thumb is that whenever the BB+SB=10% of the chips in play, your tourney should end
