I hope it's worth it...seeing as how I drove an hour and a half to get there on thursday, only to walk to the poker room and wonder where the hell everyone was. Note to self: check beforehand if the poker room is open next time you go.
How is it being down on the lower level though? I enjoyed the spaciousness of the old one as far as the room itself was concerned.

I like it alot better no way as Noisy as the old room was.
And its just Masive I just played a Act one and Act Two to try to get into the big turny thats coming up.
but New Chips also and Realy Big Auto Shufflers on all Tables realy makes everything run fast and Smoothly.
and its Sponsered by the World Poker Tour so all Tables have the WPT logo
plenty of places to sit if you want to take a break also which is nice.

Weird, they use auto-shufflers?
As fast as pro dealers shuffle, I can't imagine that an auto-shuffler would be much faster.

Where is it? In the smoke free casino area downstairs from the old one?

the auto shufflers at the casino I go to are in the middle of the table, but obviously go smoothly with the table surface. It just means one deck is shuffling as we're playing our hand and then at the end of the hand all the dealer needs to do is take it out the shuffler and cut it then deal, with the other deck then shuffling.

Go to the old poker area where they held all the ACT tourneys and take the stairs down to the new room. Easy as that.

yah
its a great spot.
and that is how it works one deck is being shuffled while the other is in play.
only downside is the walk from the racebook to the pokerroom.
I like to play the Pony's as well as play poker.
almost missed a race on Sat becuse of the distence.

Played 1-2NL today at the woods
Won four Dollers for 5 hour's of play not that bad but realy not good ether.
I made a Huge Bluff with Two Pair vs a guy who made the low end of the Q-8 Straght he Thought i had the KIng
I stuppedly Showed thats when I started going down from around $400 $ 204.
Folded a Monster Flush draw that Ended up hiting on the River.
Was a Three Hundread doller pot.
only other thing is my grandfather said he wont play with me again on the same table he was two seats to left of me so everytime i had the Butting he was the BB I Raise a lot on the Butting which he says cost him money.
hay we are not supose to be working togher so In my eyes I play my game he plays his he ended up up 100 after buying in like three or four times vs me only Adding 100 when i got down to 25dollers early on.

bumping this since its my Foxwoods thread
just got back from the woods
after playing 1-2NL.
and I killed them
I was in the Zone
I was making Laydowns when I normoly would of Called like with Pocket Cowboys when the Board was only Slightly Scary only thing out that was beating me was posibaly a flush and i was already heads up (That was my Fourth Hand I layed them down)
I had AT least One KIng Five hands in a role to start won with Three and layed down two more hands the cowboys and KJ.
I busted a guy before i was going home with Pocket Sevens vs his Pocket lady's for 250 or so Dollers
When he Rerased my Modarate Raise and I went all in
Fliped my Third Seven First card on the flop.
I was just great.
only thing lost 100 on Rulette on the way
(should of but that 25doller chip on six like i was going to )
