Villan was ultra aggressive, going all in nearly every flop he was involved in.

One question: was check-raising all-in a common occurrence with him, or did he usually lead out and bet?

If he liked to check-raise all-in a lot, with him being very aggressive, there's a good possibility you have the best hand. The problem with aggressive players is you don't want to walk into the one time they have a real hand.

If check-raising was not a usual move for him, your hand is probably no good, as he likely has an Ace. He raised an amount such that if you go all-in, he's virtually obligated to call.

If he's as aggressive as you claim, this is about 50-50 in my mind. I don't want to lay down a stellar hand like this if I don't have to, but I also don't want to lose all my chips. If you fold, you still have a fair amount of chips for this level. I think I'd like to wait and set a better trap for our table bully.

He was aggressively betting on flops using his big stack, but I had never seen him check raise all in. He would make alot of overbets though that just looked like pot stealers, but he had never shown down because no one had called him yet. He did this on the 3 or 4 hands he had been in since he joined the table. All in all, I think I'm happy with the laydown. Thanks for the input
