Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I'm pretty impressed with myself for learning the chip twirl trick. You hold 3 chips, stacked together between you thumb and index. You pull the middle chip down, twirl it around 360 degrees, and then slide it back into the middle of the stack.
I love me.

There are a lot of websites out there. I would post some links, but I'm afraid the sites might have affiliate links in them...just google poker chip tricks.

I'm very adept at making menacing throwing movements with the high denom chips. I'm also quite good at fumbling a chip making it clank onto the floor.

how important do you all think doing chip tricks at the table is?

I think the most important trick is the "transfer-chip" trick, where you make chips disappear from other stacks and reappear in your own.

Not important at all. It just gives your hands something to do.

Not much. I think it looks cool if people do it in a natural manner, but some really overdo it and you get the impression they do it in order to look better at the table, which again makes them look silly.
I don't do tricks, but I have to admit, chip shuffling helps me relax.

This is my favorite. :D
Some nights I can do it like a pro and others, I can't get close.

I just like to clink my chips hoping to distract a fellow player :D

i can collect my winning chips and put them in colour co-ordinated stacks, within 0.2 seconds.

.....................ah, wait a minute, i can only do it during certain poker games (mainly the one i'm playing online).
does this count? all can you all do it as quick as me?
