Hiya. I realized I forgot about these...
Anyways. The point of this thread is (similar to my other ones in the past) to elaborate on how this month has been for you. It's not about bad beat stories or single hands necessarily, but more general info about the number of hands you have been playing, how much you've won in the past month, notable tourney/cash victories, change in stakes, etc etc.
I know some of you feel like bragging or moping, so lets get to it.

End Of Month Report March 2006
Was able to make this entry before I went to work as I decided to end the days cash games a little early. Still struggling and today was a loss of only 4bb, but that is not really bad at all, however it just continues the struggles I have had lately. Like every true poker player, I know this will ease up and the fact that is I am still showing a profit albeit a lower hourly profit than expected.
March 2006 saw me complete the .10/.20 level and step up to .25/.50. In total I logged only 51.47 hours and 3099 hands played. A far cry from 25 hours a week as originally intended, but such as life usually brings, things come up which requires or allows me less time at the tables. If I want to achieve my goal in the span of 1 year, I have got to find a way to get in that 25 hours a week.
.10/.20 limit games brought a profit of $19.80 over 1412 hands and an earn rate of 4.22bb/hr and 7.01bb/100 hands. .25/.50 has been a struggle since the early success over the first 300 hands and for March was a profit of $18.05 over 1687 hands for an earn rate of 1.29bb/hr and 2.14bb/100 hands. I find this totally unacceptable, but am working through the varience the game does require. The remaining profits came from the free $12 Titan Poker gave me that I turned into $60 at the $1/$2 tables clearing the 200 raked that was required for cashout. I count the $12 that was given as winnings since it did not come from my own pocket. This may be inaccurate, but it is easier to keep tract of exactly how much I will put into my bankroll for the whole year.
Very little tournament play in March except for freerolls and nothing to really report on that front. A $2.50 cash at a Hollywood Poker freeroll was about it.
Total profits for March were $97.85
Goals for April are very basic. My goal is to obviously not have to drop down a level and to get in more than the 50 hours at the cash games that I did in March. 100 hours is what i want, but realistically at this point I'll be satisfied with anything over 50 hours. I don't have any delusions about being at .50/$1 by the end of April as this month will have very little money available from the household to go to the bankroll. Car registration is overdue and the wife and I are putting money in a savings account now that I am earning a bit more on my job. I may be able to add $10 or $20 here and there for my tournament roll, but that will be it. For April I will set a goal of being halfway to .50/$1 which would see the bankroll at $225. I don't forsee anymore free money to take to a $1/$2 table so I will be at .25/.50 until the BR hits $300, so my goal for April is a profit of $75-$80. Lets see if I can hopefully surpass this. Also a goal in April is to play more freerolls and cash in at least a few. hopefully a decent enuf cash to add money not only to the tournament roll but bump up the limit roll as well.
Bankroll:
Limit $170.20
Tourn. $1.63
Total $171.83
Total Money Put In 2006 $70
Money Earned 2006 2/27 - 3/31
Poker Stars
.10/.20 $22.15
.25/.50 $18.05
Titan
$1/$2 $48
Free Money Given
Titan $12
Bonuses Earned $0

Yey. Booo. Jeeeez. Alright.
Those some up each quarter of the month.
first quarter went well. Was grinding at .10/.25 FL, got some decent money. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Second quarter, started off with about 110. Still grinding at .10/.25(know i was underrolled, but I was playing smart) and that is where everything went wrong. Lost a decent amount. Couldnt get anything going. Had to move down to .05/.10
Third quarter was absouletly TERRIBLE. I wish I could forget this section. Everything went bad, and i had to remove down to fricken .01/.02. Had 14.27 when I moved down, and thought that might be it for online poker. Had to grind and hit a huge heater.
Fourth quarter was good. Grinded my way back up to about 80, where I took stabs at .10/.25. Ended the month down about 10 bucks, but it felt like 1000.
April allready looks promising. Started my BR with 60 bucks, and as of right now it sits at 110. Hope it stays this way
EDIT: For april goals, they are simple
1) Get a sufficient BR for 10SNGs and .50/1.00
2) Log in 5000 hands of cash game play
3) Become better

Well, first post, but long time reader of the forums.
March has been a blessing as much as the whole new year has so far.
Let's see.. for march i started with a bankroll of 200, (withdrew about 1500 the previous month because my laptop broke and had to be replaced)
Started playing tournaments again late march, (march 20) where i took 3rd in a 20 + 2 tournament with 98 ppl and paid 235 to me.
Then since this past sunday until today, I've hit 3 final tables in the 20 dollar buy in, and two 6K guaranteeds.
Those 3 final table moneys totaled up to $990.00
(2nd/128ppl 7th/493 and 6th out of 423)
Unfortunately, i've had to use some money elsewhere so my bankroll is just shy under a 1000 now.

hm March was fun, no more work for me at the moment until i figure out what i even want.
poker was ok i guess, my pokerstars limit adventure is in graph below,
i lost 400$ in MTTs and i made 404$ profit in 10$ 3-table SNGs
i also made about 100$ profit at sunpoker in about a week and a half of play there (including bonuses)
overall that makes me about 300$ profit for march which is nice
and should be ok in April since i will finally listen to Scan and stay away from MTTs playing max. 1 per week if i have a good week.
here is the graph

No charts or no long posts here. Let me just say March came in good and went out good poker wise, but April is starting a bit sluggish and off.... . I know it will pick up though...luck and skill work well together... ...and a good doink play never hurts...

Hey Jern, how do you get that graph from Pokertracker? Read over all the helpfiles, couldn't find it. Seems like a nifty little tool.

March was a good month for me. No notable MTT wins or anything but a net profit of $350 on Pokerstars. ROI=15% Would've have been +$600, but from the 26th to 31st I wasn't placing in anything ..Oh well. This month I hope to do at least the same or better. 8)

march was a pretty good month. moved from NL400 to NL600. made about $2300 online. about $900 at commerce playing $20/40. great thing about the high limit section is you get free food. couldve been like $1300 if on my very last hand, my flopped set of jacks didn't run into a turned set of aces.

I've actually played this past month very little. This is mainly due to time and money constraints. However I did make some "accomplishments" that I'm happy about:
I read (for the 1st time) The Theory of Poker and I am about a quarter of the way thought Small Stakes Hold 'Em.
I think that The Theory of Poker is a must read for anyone wanting to improve their game. I defiantely need to read it another time or two; it reads like a textbook, there is no way to retain everything in it simply by reading it through. Nothing else that I have read has increased my understanding of the game more than this book.
Anyway, that's about it for me. I think I was up about $50 or so for the month :p.

March = my best month ever.
I've already posted a lot of my stories, so I'll just review the highlights.
1. It all started at the 32-man "March Madness" Heads-Up Tourney I played and won for $300. That gave me enough of a roll to get started.
2. Using that $300, I donkishly deposited it all on Party to redeem my 20% bonus and immediately forked out my entire roll on 3 short-handed NL tables... probably not the smartest move, but I went on a mad rush and into some kind of Poker trance, bringing myself up to a cool $1200 or so.
3. Did pretty well at the local casinos, winning some impressive sums at the NL ring games and the $6/$12 Omaha 8 game.
4. Got my $600 Bonus at Full Tilt, and got a lot of good experience playing NL short-handed and full ring limit.
5. Did well in the new home game that's been launched in Davis (is pretty awesome as these 3 guys have 4 tables running out of their house... no rake, just donate some food + drinks on occasion, and someone is usually up 24 hours a day!)... it's very nice to get live experience in a variety of games. It's all the fun of the big mixed games at Bellagio without the enormous bankroll required.
All in all, it was a fantastic month. Even the couple losing sessions I had didn't get me down too bad, and I feel like I really played at the level I've been wanting to (I had only 7 instances of what I called "mistakes", and none of them were too major... I probably had a few other infractions in the limit games where I didn't maximize EV, but it happens).
Goal for April is to keep my bankroll in tact, not go above the $5/$10 level (except in the juicy Omaha 8 game in town if I ever get back there during school... heaven forbid ), and to improve areas of my game that I think need assistance--specifically, I want to improve my skill at short-handed limit games and in tournaments of all sorts. I think I'm going to be playing a lot of $30 and under tournies (one win already! ), a lot of $5/$10 Stud and Stud 8, and spending some time at the $1/$2 and $2/$4 short-handed limit Hold'em tables. Also, I'm hoping to make it out to the mixed game on Tuesday or Thursday when I don't have class (I'm glad the mixed game has switched to a primarily spread-limit structure).

In March I cashed out all my money everywhere except for $5 I had forgotten about on Absolute. I had very little time to play as work and other commitments have taken up most of my time.
So my experiment was to use what litle time I had to see if I could turn $5 into a workble bankroll. I've always wanted to see if I could make consistent money at NL the way I have at FL so I put my $5 into a NL20 game and worked from there.
By the end of march my $5 was sitting at about $90.
My goal for April is to continue building my BR with the little bit of free time I have. I'm going to stick to NL20, so by the end of the month I see myself between $200-300 barring an extreme blowup or a horrendous run of cards.

Well, there were only 2 good things about March for me.
1. I've done better in MTT's and HU tourneys, both live and online, than I have ever done in the past.
2. I think I've finally kicked my 6+ month long slump/downswing. :D
