Ok, tonight I finished the poker league I've been playing for the last 6 months and I won't tell you where I finished cos it ruins the next bit....
After 22 games of holdem, it was a draw at the top of the league at 84 points all. We always said that a draw would result in a sudden death heads up game between the two with £5,000 per player and blinds at £100 and £200. I was one of the two having relinquished a big lead over the last 5 games
We shook, sat, and I was dealt Kd,4d on small blind. I added £100 and he checked surprisingly. Cagey start perhaps.
Flop shows Ks,4h,Jh.
He raises £700. What do u do?
Gimme a few opinions and I'll tell u wot happened. It's very hard to give any more info cos obviously at first hand, heads up there ain't much more to say!

raise him, why not have a good chance making your full house if he draws the flush.

No1 else replied after 2 days so here's what happened:
I went all-in. Rationale? I'd been playing for 8hrs already and it was 4am. The prospect of another heavy game of poker was weighing on my addled brain and perhaps I was foolish. From a sensible standpoint, my 2 pair was more than likely beating him at that point and I had a gut feeling that no flush would pop up even if he did have the flush draw. I also felt good about a full house if it did and to be honest, to have 2 pair on the flop with 2 hearts on the board, I felt like making him fold if I could while feeling happy if he went in.
He went in and turned over Kh,9h.
Turn and river added neither to both of us so I won. Result :D
