They look nice, but I think they would look better without all the spots on the side of the chips.

Oh, you prefer plain chips to spotted? I suppose that would be cheaper, but I've always been a fan of the edge spots.
Hmmm...something to think about, anyway.

Very nice. I preferred the ones with edgespots.
I liked the symbol in the label, it had 'coat of arms' look to it.

My bad, I like the edge spots, I am talking about the grainy look on the side of the chip.

Oh, those are just brass flakes included in the clay to give the chips a little more weight. Standard with ASM non-dayglow colors. They're a little more obvious in the mock ups than they are in real life. Not much I can do about that.
Yeah, I kind of like the symbol too, it's a heraldry symbol. I was at a loss of what to put on my custom chips, so I searched for Baumeister (my last name) heraldry. Some of the coat of arms include a lion rampant. Add a Germanic font and some german (Haus der Karten) text, and that's my chip!
Oh which do you guys prefer? The top set with the same edge spot configuration, or the bottom set where the configuration is different for each chip?

In this case, I like the ones with EdgeSpots better. I have been kicking around the idea of getting a Custom Set from ASM, but getting all solids with some DayGlo colors (i.e. Pink, Peach). After watching the Borgata, I have this infatuation with huge stacks of solid chips :D
I did hear once that PC.com discourages from people using DayGlo for the Base color of a chip. Any idea why? If they wouldn't last long or if it would rub off, I can forget that idea!

Dayglow colors are more brittle than non-dayglow, I think. So a base chip of a dayglow color would break easier.
