unfortunatly , chips stacks taken into account , I think your only move is call and see what the flop brings. your getting a little over 6 to 1 odds to call at this point.

However the sh!ty part about the flop , even if it brings all unders , your still at risk of getting knocked out and it seems more then likly that 1 player of the remaining two will call anything you do .... depending on the flop.

hope to hit a set? Razz

Push it and hope to isolate.

1) You call and over(s) hit. Do you push or fold? Your re-maining chips wouldn't leave you any other options. Only 10BB left, odds are you prolly aren't getting a better hand to get your money in with.

2) While the min-raise could very well be an idiot with AA or KK, even a donk would push after the re-raise and not just call with already 3 in the hand. Doesn't seem like these guys have very strong hands. I'd think your be up against an underpair, maybe 2, and AK-AT. Also only leaves them fewer outs if 2 or more have AK-AT.

Why'd you call a raise and reraise with JJ? Seems like you could easily be dominated and even if JJ is good, you are going to have a hell of a time figuring out where you stand on the flop if overs hit.

Additionally you are not last to act when you call. By calling with JJ in middle position your opponents sandwiched you into making a mediocre call or a poor fold.

I may play the JJ if I was on the button (If I thought the initial raiser or the reraiser may be raising with weak hands), but otherwise I would toss it. I may be erring on the side of caution - but I don't like putting 1/5 of my 3rd place chip stack on a hand I'm probably folding on the flop...

My play here would be simple. Call the raise and hope for the best. Since both guys are short stacked and all-in I think this is an easy call since you have a good hand going in.

Only once have I thrown away JJ pre-flop. It was in an SNG and One guy bets about 200, another raises to 400 and the porson to act before me went all-in pre-flop. I laid those jacks down dang fast. In your case though I say call. If you do have the best hand (which I am betting you will) and it holds, then not only do you get good chip position but you also eliminate 2 players.

Hmm, a true toughie. No way I'd fold here for 245 more though, but call for a set/over or push to isolate...hell if I know. Think BB shortie could pull this stunt with any PP or pretty facecards? If so I push now.

I probably push initially as opposed to calling though.

You need to fold or push pre flop. The call didn't make any sense.

Quoted because it was exactly what I was going to say.

Without reads, I'd reraise big or push.

With some sort of creepy telepathic read I'd prolly just call.

What are you scared of here that a big reraise doesn't help?

Posted Wed Apr 05, 2006 1:14 pm GMT by Jernej Zorec
well only worried about initial raiser, but since he didnt push after it came back to him u can rule out AA or KK for both him and the rereaiser,

if the both raised propeely instead of 2 minraises u could worry, but i think at this point ur up against overcards so probably best to push since if u call u have to fold if any overcard comes on flop

Pus preflop, the min-raiser then min-reraiser have both only called. This screams a lower PP or over cards. Small-stack could have a lot of hands you are beating. If the flop comes with an overcard you are almost certainly behind given the preflop action. Push and isolate.

My thoughts too (sorry if someone already mentioned it before TR).

Considering the blinds and stacks I’d have probably opted for a push.

I would push here as well. Going off the preflop action, I think the only one that MIGHT have you beat right now is the short stack. Why would the other two guys raise small preflop and then just call a reraise if they had QQ-AA? You would think if they had those hands, THEY would have raised to isolate.

Chances are that 2 of the 3 are taking each other's outs here (probably an Ace), so I think you are good right now.
