I was playing .25/.50PLO hi yesterday and had 10 10 2 A
limped in on the button.
Flop 10 5 5 w/ 2 hearts
I bet pot and get called
Turn J
Bet pot again and am called
River Ah
I bet pot and get raised for my last 10 dollars.
I put him on a made flush draw or maybe a 5. Even if he made fives full i have him beat. I call and he shows quad 5's. I am just now taking non hold-em games seriously and omaha is my favorite. My question is did I over play my Boat or was I just unlucky?

Hmmm... I don't think you can play that like he has quads. I would have lost a bunch on that too.

Thats rough man...although omaha 8 isnt my specialty, i do enjoy it....I'm pretty sure you just got pretty damn unlucky...I prolly woulda played the hand the exact same way except maybe a raise preflop...you can't really expect him to be on quads tho...thats rough...i woulda figured he had trip 5s and a flush draw maybe...so pretty much the same idea
also, even tho in omaha 8 preflop most hands have similar odds, i mite've raised preflop depending on wut suits you had, how many ppl are playing, and wut yer position was....that begs the question, how many ppl were there?, wut was yer position?

It was a six handed table and I was on the button. My hand was A and 10 suited in spades other 2 were off suit. I had about $35.

if everybody folded to you, i think i would've liked a raise there preflop...altho its hard to get the bb to fold since the flop is so valuable in this game...I'd imagine that the SB folded and the BB checked correct?
like i was saying, i think you played it fine otherwise...just got screwed...
