The second hand is definitely a bad beat, but I wouldn't call the first hand a bad beat. He was the favorite when all the money went into the pot. Yes, you hit a King (the second King didn't lessen his number of outs), and yes, he then hit a two outer on the river. But he put all his money in to see five cards, was the favorite, and those five cards gave him the best hand, regardless of the order they came out. It was a brutal roller coaster ride for you, but not a bad beat. It's hard enough to not tilt when donks suckout on you when they had a horrible hand going in, so you can't let the order the cards come out affect your emotions when you were really on the short side of a coin flip going in.

Lol i didnt know where this post went because it got moved to here...found it about 2 weeks later Smile

As for the KJo vs. AK suited (me), are you sure hes the favorite...i highly doubt that...did you confuse the hands, im holding AK suited

As for the 99, hitting his 4 suited cards made me absolutely crazy...but hey, its poker

EDIT:
Odds for hand 1 from cardplayer.com calculator:

Preflop - Me: 74.86% Him: 24.03% Tie 1.1%

After the flop - Me: 82.42% Him: 16.36% Tie 1.21%

After the turn - Me: 79.55% Him: 6.82% Tie 13.64%

Hes got a 7% chance to win that pot...id cast my vote for semi-bad beat (2nd hand was a legit bad beat), but AK suited preflop dominates KJo.

My fault, I totally mis-read that. Somehow, I read that he had JJ, not KJ.
Sorry 'bout that!
