I was going to post this yesterday (4/6), but never got around to it. Now it gets even worse.
I have a freind, Weaver, who hosts a weekly NL game, and has been doing so for the last year and a half. Usually there are at least two games a night. It is usually the same crew there every night.
One of the guys there, Will, gets pocket A's at least once a night. Weaver on the other hand has only got them 7 times total( he keeps track, because it annoys him that Will gets them so often). That's including the once or twice a month he comes and plays in my home game.
Wednesday night he and will are at my house, and over the course of the night Will gets A's THREE times. Weaver of course never gets them, and Will's A's knock out his Q's.
So last night, I get a call from him (this is what makes what I was originally going to post even worse). He is knocked out first in his home game. He got dealt pocket A's, raised 4 times the blind, gets called. An ace comes on the flop, as well as two spades. He pushes the other guy all in, the other guy calls and knocks him out with a flush on the river.
Most of the time people complain about their own bad luck, but for me, it just amazes me how unlucky he can get.

It gets worse( if you can believe it) . So when he called me last night, it was after the first game. He sent me this e-mail about the 2nd game:
"The story is to much to type. I lost with pocket aces in the second game also to an open ender on the flop. Paul had what I would say were bad cards and a bad call. Mark liked it, Weller and I were not so fond. What ar the odds? Same person (me), same situation, same night, same me!!!
"
Weller, is a player who knows his outs, odds and percentage as well as anyone I know, so if he is not liking the call I will go with it (since we don't have the whole story).

Clearly Will is a mechanic and should be dealt with as such.
