He was drunk for sure, but I'm not sure how much a squid is worth. I think a squid is worth a few US$, not sure though.

english/US translations are as follows.
pissed=drunk (although pissed-off means upset/angry)
quid=pounds (£)-the same as bucks=dollars ($)

From what I gather, Zero doesn't usually play high stakes SnGs. He's saying that his opponents weren't very good.

Yes, I was drunk and suddenly found myself in a £90 + £9 sng. 
Johny is correct in saying I normally play low stakes only so unless I was truley drunk I wouldn't have found myself gambling £100 on a single game of poker.
However, I somehow won the game so I'm happy that I played it. Not that it was sensible of me. In fact it was totally stupid...

Nice one, zero. Maybe you're a better payer when you're drunk? I really think I am. My reads are impeccable. I just have a hard time pushing the fold button occasionally. I'm working on perfecting my drunken play though. Doubled my BR Friday night in a wine-infused stupor.

FANTASTIC, I'm in the process of this myself. This weekend I took a hundred off of these guys and we didn't even start playing until 3AM. Good times!
