Look what I found on the news from a few days ago! It's crazy!

Pokershare.com is offering Bluff, Alaska 100,000 dollars!!! Do you think it's real? I wonder if they will take the money!

I'm fairly certain it's real, but I doubt the town will do it for such a paltry sum, which is probably the point. The site gets their publicity, and they don't have to pay anything since they fully expect to have their offer rejected.
Very nicely disguised spam, by the way.

I was just waiting for someone else to click it , see if it was genuine. Story was too short , with no info. Seems pointless and lame to me.

Because the person who posted the link probably works for the poker site. So, instead of linking to the site, they link to the news story which then inevitably leads people to the poker site via sheer curiosity.
