I really really really like triple draw 2-7.
All I knew about the game , before I started, was reading in super system 2.
Then I played .01-.02 , and I amde 2$ lol.
Well , tonight , I played 25$ at 1$-2$ triple draw. In just 40 minuets , I made 55$ , was at 80$. Then I got into a tough hand.
356 xx im on the cutoff , utg limps , I raise , button calls , utg reraises, I call.
utg draws 1
I draw 2
235 5k
utg bets , I call
utg draws 1 , I draw 2
356 qj
utg bets ....
I didnt feel it wise to call drawing 2 VS a possible pat or at worst he picks up 1 pair but im drawing 2. big pot thuogh , maybe worth a call?
I think your the only one on here who plays triple draw , diamond cutter. What ya think ?

Personally I would have dumped that hand after the first draw. No way I'm drawing 2 to an attempted cinch at the end. My guess is he just made a 9 or better.

relative to the pot though , was getting 12 to 1 to call. Not sure if pot odds work in triple draw hehe.
So where else , aside from UB , offers triple draw? I'd love to bonus whore into triple draw , does full tilt offer it? 600$ bonus would be awsome to work off playing triple draw. The game actualy makes points work off really fast.

UB is the only site I know of that offers triple draw.
Pot odds work in all Poker games, not just Hold'em, and it's important you utilize them.
The reasons I think you should have folded after draw number one are as follows:
1. You did not improve your hand.
2. You are a card behind (you drew 2 while he drew 1).
3. You have a rough draw, not a smooth draw (more on that later).
4. Your implied odds are bad because you will HAVE to draw two, while the most he will draw is one--unless he's an idiot, he will bet no matter what next round, and you'll have to improve to continue.
A couple notes on Triple Draw in general:
1. 3-5-6 is not a 3-card combo I like playing because it contains no 7 or 2,and has the dreaded 6. Now a 6 is not the worst card, but it does make all your draws rough (ie you cannot draw to a wheel or a perfect 8, and it forms more straightening combinations). If you're going to play two-card draws, I recommend you not leave the gate without a 2, and I would prefer hands like 2-3-4, 2-3-5, 2-4-5, 2-3-7, and 2-4-7 to any hand containing a 6.
2. Drawing two on the final draw is generally a no-no, even if you have position. In the situation you listed above, to win you probably have to hit exactly 8-2, 7-2, or 8-4 to have any hope of winning, and you just don't have the odds to do that... you'd be an underdog to K-Q-J-T-8, believe it or not.
3. As you have learned by now, position is crucial in this game to see where you stand. When you are a card ahead, you should usually bet the next round no matter what, and if you are a card behind, you should consider folding or check-folding unless you improve.
If you have Super System 2, I recommend re-reading the Triple Draw section, as it's probably the most useful chapter of the whole book.

yea I was re-reading it last night , things are making alot mroe sense now.
looking back , yea thefold was definatly ideal. My real hope was that I call , he draws 1 again , I stand pat and auto bet to a check. though that would have been far mroe risky , the table was folding quite often IE not players willing to call after drawing 1 on the final draw with a pair of 2's 3's or Q high +. I would get called with 10 hi occasionly , but I think they mostly folded there jack highs after drawing 1 on the final draw.
Thats kinda a bummer only UB has triple draw , as i've allready made a first time bonus , cant bonus whore properly.
