Just watching this week's WPT event and noticed Darrell Dicken. He is from my home town of Waterloo, Iowa. I used to play pool with him all the time. We hadn't seen him in a while, but the rumor was he was arrested for dealing Meth. I guess the rumors are wrong!
Well crap, he just went out. Just a little FYI.

He is also known as "Gigabet" in the online Poker world and has won some major tournaments online. There have also been some recent final tables he made, but I won't spoil them if you don't want to know.

The same 'Gigabet' from 2+2 fame? That's crazy if it is the same guy that Dat_Dude used to hang out with...

It is definitely the same guy. I had heard some stories around the pool hall that he moved out to Vegas and was living with Scott Fischman for a while. In fact, there was an article written by Fish in CardPlayer stating that he learned more from Dicken's "genius" in that period than he had the entire time dealing and playing.
I noticed Dicken won a WSOP Circuit event. I want to see that one on TV since I don't think last night showed how good this guy is.
