Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

He is also incorrect about the Poker game on Star Trek, because I saw it the other day.
They are playing 5-Card Stud, not 7-Card, and Wesley has 3 Jacks up. Yes, 3 Jacks showing in Stud!!! He bets 10, and Riker "donk bets" 100 more, showing 6789 on his board. Wesley folds his 3 Jacks despite Data's advice. Idiot. Lt. Cmdr. Shelby (a visitor to the game) calls Riker's huge over-raise with two pair, and Riker is caught bluffing with 2 in the hole. My only question is, with the way the betting went, how the hell could Shelby call Wesley with 2 pair when he has 3 Jacks showing, unless Wesley folded out of turn???
In conclusion, Star Trek is home to the galaxy's worst Poker players, and I am a total nerd for remembering useless trivia like this.
