I wish that cocky old fart would of went out earlier. I got tired of him gloating over catching a lucky card Rolling Eyes

Otherwise, that room anouncer was a hottie!

Yeah he was sooo annoying

"FOREVER CRETE!" *Slams chips on table* I was soo glad when the other guy (don't remember his name) read him correctly as having high cards 'cause he slammed his chips.

And yes, she was a hottie :D

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 9:13 am GMT by racquet000
Yeah she was. Laughing

"Forver Crete" Good for me.

them dealers (the one of the female persuasion anyway) weren't too bad either!

did y'all notice the interesting way they deal over there? i called it the human-shoe... since it's like they're dealing out of a shoe... but while holding the deck. i don't care for it... but it sure looks like it takes some skill to do!

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 9:45 am GMT by Ninja
Yeah, the shoe-dealing was a little weird...but think of it this way, in most of the games I play, someone sees a card when it's dealt every few hands. No chance of it happening this way.

I think we have a new champ for "most annoying poker player", that is IF you consider him a poker player.

Yup, she was a hottie, she's no Shana Hiatt, but nice nonetheless. Wink

I have to admit, I like the way they respect the game over there.

Shiana was in Playboy. Has anyone else seen it?

Oh man, I saw a picture of the dealer on the wpt site yesterday.
It only made me hate the fact that I HAVE NO CABLE OR SATELITE.
She definately looked like a hottie., good thing my bro tivos it
all. Man o man. I still want to see that old wpt women showdown,,
like last year or something.

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 11:00 am GMT by BeerWench13
The one with Clonie Gowen and Annie Dukes? What a great tourney. Of course, I'm sure you don't really want to see it for the card play. LOL

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 11:03 am GMT by Ninja
Lol...it's becoming more and more obvious that this is a male-dominated board...what with all the talk of porn and whatnot...lmao

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 11:05 am GMT by BeerWench13
Hey, I'm not a male. I'm just a little more open-minded than most females. But you're right. This board is generally male-dominated. No problem for me though. Men are much more logical and easier to talk to than most women.

if only all women understood this simple truth. i've been trying to convince my wife of this for YEARS. she just won't seem to listen!

Laughing

That's because all of her girl friends are telling her that you're wrong. Laughing

Women think in circles and focus on emotions. Men think on which way is the quickest to accomplishing the task at hand. I prefer the man's method personally.

Thats good. Wink Why take time to do things when you can get them done fast and outta the way.

And what issue was she in i need to get that. *Go's to kazza for some pics Twisted Evil *

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 12:11 pm GMT by BeerWench13
I may not be perfect, but I'm certainly efficient. I'm a shortest distance between two points kind of person. That's why I'm in here posting today. I knocked out all of my work in the first half hour.

I'm not positive which issue she's in. I'll have to check when I get home.

You missed last season the one from Paris, they showed a few clips of a pudgy fellow followed by Phil Hellmuth as a "sore loser".

The fellow they showed previously was by far the most annoying to date on the WPT.

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 12:55 pm GMT by BeerWench13
I agree, jonnie. I saw a portion of that clip. I bet that guy got jumped leaving the game.

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 12:58 pm GMT by racquet000
Sweet. Maybe you can sell it to me. Laughing Or just scan the pics.

Wait...BeerWench YOU get Playboy? Or your husband? lol

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 1:17 pm GMT by BeerWench13
He has a few copies that his buddy (whose wife doesn't like him to have them) has given him. He doesn't subscribe to it because he thinks magazines cause too much clutter. Besides he gets them free a month after they come out from his friend. I prefer PBTV myself.

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 1:23 pm GMT by Jonniedough
It was fun watching last season, Having the guy mope out after being knocked out of the final table. The last few players faces were funny to watch as he left it was all like they thought "damn, bout time hes gone"

Posted Thu Mar 25, 2004 1:28 pm GMT by BeerWench13
No doubt that is exactly what they were thinking.

FOREVER CRETE!
That rang across my UB tables last night more than a few times when river mircles occured.

BeerWench.......ya gotta stop coming around here girl. Your gonna make all us married guys not appreciate our wives, and ruin the single men forever. I mean how the heck are they gonna find a woman who measures up to you? Yet set the bar so damn high. Does your hubby realize how lucky he is?
Wink

Oh stop. You're making me blush. Embarassed

To quote a friend of mine (who may have been quoting someone else) "No matter how beautiful or how cool she is, someone somewhere is tired of her shit."

I'm sure that the hubby would love to strangle me on occasion.

Just making that statement further pounds the nails of your overall beauty into the cross of attraction we carry for you. :D

God, I just love making crucifixion analogies! Laughing

As annoying as ol' George was, without him (and the hottie announcer, wow) it would have been a very dull show. His comical outbursts and that miracle 7s draw were really the only exciting moments.

But back to the hottie announcer... they gotta have her tour with the show as its permanant announcer, I think. It goes to show that France does in fact have something to offer. I think I was watching her more than the poker action.

LOL that is great. If it was up to me I'd rename 'bad beat' to 'forever crete'. If I ever find anyone to play with I'm definitely shouting forever crete and smacking the table every time I get a lucky draw.

As far as the hostess goes I agree. She was very cute. I think it was the accent that did it though. If she spoke like an American I wouldn't like her but with the accent when she said shuffle up and deal it was so cute Smile I also think they should bring her on as a permanent hostess Smile

The female dealer was pretty good lookin too. Evelyn Ng is still the best though.
