Well, I had my first royal a little while ago and forgot about, but a post reminded me about it, so hah, I figured I'd bother you all with it.
Anyway, it was all very unexciting. 25NL 6-max, I had top pair medium kicker (QT) and pushed against a lag who called with a medium pair and I runnered runnered a royal, so I didn't really need it.
I did get it in hearts though...for some reason I think a royal looks best in hearts.
