How do you feel? What's going through your mind at the mo?

What's your target/goals/game plan?

How long will you give it before saying "Yes, this is the life for me!" or "I hate this, I want out!"

Good luck to you

So you are going to be a street hooker or a call boy? Talk about "taking" one for the team, MAN!

First off, I'd be an awesome call boy.

Second off, I'm not quitting school. That's one bridge I'm not stupid enough to break... But I figure I got atleast another 2 years of undergrad to mess around with and maybe even a year afterwards...

Um... other than that...

The title is just incidental, i think. I've been playing poker as my only means of support for a couple years now, I just thought it was ridiculous to call it my "job". I think the only difference now will be the amount of time i devote to tracking and just how much i force myself to play. I'm coming off an extended break (no, nothing serious) so it will be a slow start.

Problems to start:

Over the past year I've made about 15k or so from poker which I was willing to devote to my roll... Well "real life" kicked in around spring time and I made two large withdrawals on top of my usual small ones. 5k went straight to cover this year's tuition, another 2-3k was earmarked for my little Euro-trip coming up and another 3k for assorted toys. This leaves me with about 4k to start.

nl100s, here i come =P

You've been a "pro" for quite some time if you've been living off of your poker winnings. But, you know that already.

I'm glad to see you're staying in school. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Good luck. I hope it works out well for you. If not, well, you can always fall back on being a cabana boy (though you'll probably have to cut the hair). Wink

Good Luck to 'ya. I think you have the tools for it, not to mention the brass ones.

However I guess that means you lose your amateur standing and will be ineligible for future TH-P tournaments leaving the field to us second placers.

good luck with that i am sure you will be fine.

all you are doing is changing your title.. cos by the looks of it you are kindof a pro already.

I'm sure it's stated in plenty of your posts, but I don't feel like searching for 'em. What games/stakes do you play?

Good luck btw.

5 tables of 100nl, usually. Occasionally 3-4x 200nl instead. When I play limit it's usually 3/6 online.
