Because Supa is such a slacker, I'll have to start the thread.
April was a bittersweet month for me. On the one hand, I made steady profit for the most part, and cashed out enough of the $$$ to buy a Hawaii trip for my girlfriend and I. But it was also a month where I grew profoundly tired of online Poker, for reasons I'm still not entirely sure I understand.
But here's the white meat of my results.

As far as absolute results go, April along with March rank up as the best two months of Poker I've ever had. That actually gives me some encouragement to get back into the game as soon as I can. Maybe I'll go play in the mixed game tomorrow. :D
Hope everyone else did great too!

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. well since i didn't start it, i can be brief.
I won an MTT and final tabled a couple others. Overall I made like.. 600 on the month? I took it really light because of my 5 exams. Those are over now =)

The worst thing is, that figure basically accounts for three hands. Yes, three hands. All three hands involved me flopping second set when someone else either flopped or turned a higher set (one guy played it very well where I put him on a flush draw, the flush came on the river, but both of us had a boat... he won with his bigger boat, had to give him props for that). Second set can be so evil in Omaha.

Yea , anytime you flop a set in omaha , and someone shows down a higher one - they might as well turn over 2 jokers. I'm always thinking " f*ck , didnt see that one coming ".

I must be the eternal pessimist. Whenever I flop 2nd or 3rd set in Omaha, I'm always assuming someone else has top set. Maybe that's another reason I just can't seem to win at that game.
