7 Bad Beats in one day???

Posted Mon May 08, 2006 8:09 am GMT by chew
I never usually post in this section because I think that we've all been there and had those bad beats.

I try not to dwell on them. I find it pretty easy to forget the odd bad beat now and again no matter how much a favourite I was, but when I get the sort of horror show I had yesterday I really start getting a bit f******g annoyed.

These all happened in the space of nine SnG's yesterday - was put out before the money in eight of them .

I've edited my hand histories to give you the general idea.

im still learning to truly 'practive what i preach' , as i would also re-iderate that you gotta just get over it and move on. But this is a tough one :

I could tell you about the time playing 100$ NL I lost with KK 7 or 8 times in one week , lost about 1500$ , and everytime except for 1 , i was a VERY dominant favorit. Oddly enough it was also pocket kings every time that week.

twice VS smaller pp's all in pre. twice all in on the flop or turn VS someone with nothing but a draw - and I was giving them horrible pot odds for the call. twice I lost to Axo all in pre. Once i recall i raise pre - call. bet the flop ( 3 diamonds ) - call. turn not a diamond , i go all in - call. guy has nothing but a flush draw , gets there on the river. Then once i raise pre get called , ace on the flop , and i tried my best to make A10 fold , but no dice.

It's like flipping a coin 20 times and losing 19 of them. Only worse.

I'm over it though. I'm still well up on this month so I suppose I can think positive and be thankful all those opponents were in there with those shitty odds in the first place.
