Howdy! Long time reader, first time poster. I think I have found the answers to my questions, but I really value the opinions of the folks on this forum.
1) What is the status of online gambling in North Carolina? I have done a lot of research on this, but I can't find any solid information. It appears as if NC gambling laws extend to include the Internet; however, there seems to be a loophole in the law because a computer is not declared as a gambling device. Am I correct in this assumption? I have searched high and low for answers, and I have even contacted a few legal people, but no one can give me an answer other than "I'm not sure." Also, the Poker Player's Alliance does not have any information for North Carolina.
2) Where can I find voting results for ACT HR 4777?
Best,
Charlie
