venting= blowing off steam

I lost a few big hands, that puts me on tilt pretty easily.

I had 10 4s. That hand put me on tilt too, but I tilt worse in cash games than tourneys.

I still remember that hand, I didn't like his play at all. I had to call there with pretty much anything. His only hope was that I was on a pure bluff too.

*I raised from the SB, he re-raised, I re-raised and he moved-in.

can i vent too? I was just playing a NL cash game at my local casino. The 2nd hand I get dealt

KK

Triple the blinds , 3 callers. Flop q x 4 ( 3 clubs )

In late posistion and checked to me I bet 6$ , fold fold shorty goes all in for 13$. I call of course , turn club river blank.

He flops over k4o K of clubs. I thought it was cute He first shows me the 4 ( ok so what you have some dumb fking two pair? ) , then he shows me the k of clubs ( i had showm my hand before the turn was dealt ). How dead do you have to be drawing ..... to have your high card dominated by a pocket pair , and your low cards suite dominated , so that your drawing to trips WITH ONE CARD OR A FLUSH WITH ONE CARD????? Oh , I'm showing he wins that hand 5% of the time Rolling Eyes

So I double up a few hands later , didnt win a whole lot but went from 7 or so bucks to 15 , and i'm in the sb with A8s. Big stack makes it 4$ from early , but I had a read on him.... my ace was live. So em and 1 other person call. Flop A x x 2 hearts , So with about 8 bucks left I bet 4 bucks , seeing if big stack will call me down. he folds , other guy calls ...... hmm. Turn a heart of course , I throw my 4 bucks in there oainfully , he calls and flips over hearts of course.

Cool , two hands , two people turn a flush.

So i'm eating my food , I buy back in to play a few more hands. Still had food to eat , when I get my first hand that I play ( an orbit had passed ) from the cutoff. 4 limpers plus the blinds , So i decide tripling the blinds just isn't working for me , I bet 7$. ( I had AJs ) I get 1 caller. Flop , thank god , J x x . Checks to me , I bet 5$ ....... call. Now im just stumped here , as his call just didnt hit me with any reads.... im baffled. The kid didn't seem stupid. Turn is a 7 , and now he bets roughly em all in , i had maybe 7 bucks at this point. Now I go into the think tank. I just CANNOT SEE a two pair here .... and I was thinking theres no way in hell he is tricky enoughto play kings queens or aces this way. Everything was telling em i was beat ...... but I COULD NOT put him on two cards for the life of me. So i say fk it , i don't want to be shorty shitty stack with the blinds coming up soon - we were slightly short handed.

he flips over 77. Shocked

So that was NL - 2 buy ins for me today. Just reminds me WHY I QUIT FU CKING PLAYING THIS CRAPPY 1$ 1$ BLINDS 20$-40$ BUY IN NL - AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

But seriously , 3 hands - flush me on the turn flush me on the turn hits a 2 outer on the turn. Can I claim bad luck on my taxes this year along with 'exempt'. Crying

I'm the exact opposite.

So, did you turn it around and make some money or did you quit due to your major tilt issue? I'm hoping the former.

Tiltin in a tourney isn't really that bad.

NL Cash is where the fun part starts.

So true.

I don't usually tilt in cash games. I just consider it a loan to whomever it was that sucked out on me. I know eventually I will retrieve it, and usually with interest.

I was up a buy-in before tilting and ended up being down one. Thankfully I stopped myself before I lost a lot a more, which I knew was coming.

It was nothing major, but I loss 2 buy-ins in around 2 hands...

Ugh. :x The tilt is understandable.
I took a few hits myself last night. Still ended up being up $41 on the night, but it should've been $169. C'est la vie.
