I was flipping through the channels and saw Annie Duke so I stopped to see what it was. It's that show on the Discovery channel called More Than Human (I think). It was about lying. They had 3 experts come in to figure out when people are lying or not and they put them up against high tech lie detector equipment. Annie Duke was one of the experts.
They showed them some clips of people and had them explain how they knew the person was lying. Then they showed clips of famous people like Nixon, OJ Simpson and Oliver North. They asked them if they thought the person was lying or not and for Nixon and OJ they thought they were lying
At the end there were 25 questions for the host. Annie and one of the other guys got 17/25 right. Two of the three machines got 17/25 or less, so 2/3 of the humans beat or tied 2/3 of the machines. Only the polygraph got better with 21/25. I think they did pretty well and gave away a few tells

If you make 17 of 25 correct reads in a poker game you are a winner, considering pot odds. One would think, she has a better percentage of correct reads in a poker game because it's "her turf"
By the way, Nixon was a extremely strong poker player. He won a small fortune when he was in the army and he competed well with all the top players of his day. Almost all the writers in "Super System" played and lost to Nixon, including Doyle Brunson (not on purpose).

I read an article about that in one of the mags darth sent me. She said she got a lot of pointers from the FBI guy after they were done. I wish I could have seen the program though.

Was she wearing one of her classic grey long-sleeve sweatshirts with a short sleeve pink t-shirt on top ?
