Some days I just hate poker |

played in a $5 buy-in cash game this week. The past 2 times I've played in this game, i've had completely opposite cards in almost every hand. I get AQ, the flop is 479. I get 56, the flop is AKJ. I get 78clubs, the flop is all red. It's amazing how off you can be to the table. I had a few good hands that I won only by betting and coming over the top. It gets frustrating as hell!
both of the last 2 games, I got beat and taken out by 4 of a kinds. It sucks, but at least losing to a hand like that doesn't piss me off as much as losing to a sucker hand! Oh yeah -and the only pocket pair i got all night was 55 -and that was on a mis-deal.
I'm sure we've all had these nights, but man, I'm starting to hate poker! It can be the funnest game when your cards are hitting, but other times, it's worse than work, it's drudgery.
...and yet, I keep coming back for more.

So true, but you have to play through them or find something else to do on those nights. When the cards are cold, they're cold. You have to make things happen or find the roulette wheel.
