Hi there. I live in Australia and only managed to catch 1 series of LNP. Would anyone have or be willing (for a charge) to sell me as many series as they have of LNP on vhs or dvd?
Many thanks

Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

You might want to ask around for the WPT or WSOP if you dont have those already. The LNP is rather dull....to me it was like watching golf, rather boring. The hosts arent the greatest they couldnt keep me interested. Now Shana Hyatt.......she keeps my eyes glued to the TV

Dull??????? DULLLLL????????????
You're allowed to have your own opinion......... but not on this !!!!
LateNightPoker is what brought me to the world of poker in the 1st place, some of those guys are great! admittedly they are not THE best players in the WORLD (with 1 or 2 exceptions) but they are some of the best players in Europe and the play and action is top notch.
plus with the added bonus of not having those 2 presenter guys from WPT mannnnnnnnnn those guys grate on me
Jesse May is a Fantastic presenter and some of his comments rank up their with the great Sid Waddell (darts)
and anyways the hosts aren't their to make you interested in the game..... the poker itself should do that!
now .... back to topic... sorry no i dont have any of these on DVD video or even on my pc anymore, have you tried a filesharing network like suprnova or IRC or maybe even kazaa for these?
and yes you should also get the WPT or WSOP also, great entertainment and you learn a thing or 2 also

Late Night Poker is horrible. It doesn't even come close to WPT or WSOP in either action or commentary. They don't even have the cameras to show the cards, they have that table with a glass edge so the camer can see their cards.

Any golf fanatics in here......cover your ears!!
LNP the players arent bad, but as with the WPT the announcers can go!!
The LNP annoucers are acting as if its a golf tournamnet, if its late and night and there isnt any gold on. I switch to the LNP to put me to sleep. They could use a little caffine in their diet.!!

blasphemy !!!
buncha weirdo's!!
LateNightPoker is maybe behind only on the fact that it isn't gazillions of $$$'s at stake but the play and action is as good as anywhere!
but hey ho neither of us is gonna change the others minds
so lets stop hijacking this guy's post (he obviously has taste ) and let him find someone to send him the shows

Sorry, but I really can't help you with copies of LNP. I really wouldn't bother to record it.

I did, but I didn't cover my eyes! To each their own, of course, but golf is great. It is one of the best games in the world. I play it and watch the tourneys when they're on tv. I'd much rather listen to golf commentators than those on LNP.
Don't get me wrong, it's poker and I love poker, but the graphics are horrible. No colors on the cards? Is this 1950? TV comes in color, so should the graphics. The play is good, but it's rather boring if you actually listen to it instead of putting music on the stereo while you watch (which is what I do). And the announcers? Well, my mom always told me, "If you don't have anything nice to say....."
Anyway, Webmaster, I don't fault your taste. Hey, some people even like to watch hockey. Just kidding, puckjunkie. Some people don't like beer. To each their own, but I think that LNP could do a lot better if they'd up their graphics and maybe spike the announcers' drinks occasionally.

lmao
I have so fallen in love with beerwench over these past few weeks
any girl that loves poker/golf/beer and has that wicked sense of humour is alright by me
oh! and dont get me started on hockey!

"They don't even have cameras to show the cards - they have cameras under the glass table to see the cards"
?????
I prefer Late Night Poker to the WPT events we get over here - I get really annoyed by the WPT commentators, they sound almost like wrestling commentators. Late Night Poker treats you a bit more as if you've played the game more than once in your life, and doesn't need some fake hostess to draw you in.
If anyone is interested, all the series of LNP are currently being played on Sky channel 133 and 134 (Home and Leisure I think). I'm videoing as many as possible, but sorry, I can't copy tapes.

ok, yeah I guess that made no sense but i was talking about how they don't have the hidden camera in the rails.

WPT rail cam tends to show you what everyone has in turn, whether they fold call or raise, you know what each player has.
LNP tends to show you 1 person in the pots hands and hold back the other guys until later in the hand.
kinda draws me in and lets me think what i would do with the cards against a blind hand.
*footnote*
I notice tho that on the version shoen in the U.S. they add a graphic showing what each player in the pot has.
actually maybe this is why ppl think the UK presenters are stupid? like they suddenly realise someone has something?
well that aint their fault, maybe you should call the tv station

That expains why the announcers sound unusual. It would be much better if they didn't show the cards if that is the case. They don't show one of the hands on WSOP every once and a while too.
