No, because the issue is far too new to have any real effect on the greater body of Congress. It has lobbyists working against it, not nearly enough working FOR it, and it's exactly bills like this that get a bunch of pork tacked onto them so that they never pass. Happens all the time.

My guess would be you have nothing to worry about, but it never hurts to e-mail the old Representatives and Senators.
