The other guy was Oliver Hudson and it still gives me nightmares so he must feel like crap Razz

I saw that just yesterday. I believe though it was 2005. But you're right that's terrible for that guy Hudson. But Farha was on a run, he got pocket rockets the very next hand. Just like Varkonyi in 2003 (yes, i mean 2003). AA in the first two hands of the tourney!
But then again, Hudson HAD TO move his chips in. That supports my belief that sometimes a player can play correct and still be beat. Like if you move all-in with Kings after a big re-raise. There's no way to know when the other guy has Aces.

So to clarify: Farha AA, Hudson AT, Flop ATT.

LOL...damn Kompis I know how you feel but I can't say this is a bad beat. Just some damn bad luck.

I was playing a $0.10/$0.20 table this morning and got delt KJs. Someone raised the pot to 3xBB so I called. Anyhow the flop came out QJJ. Needless to say I put villian on an AQ and not a QQ.... Shocked...I know he had to be loving me calling his beats all the way down to the river.... Laughing

Farha held AT not AA. Hudson held TT. Farha opened. Hudson called. Flop AAT. Now what's a better flop for Hudson than this, you ask? Of course he slowplays it and moves in on a raise on the turn. He turns over his tens triumphantly only to be crushed by AT. It's a classic.
