Unfortunately, it was as she was cashing out after a long, bad session. Nice to finally get to chat for a short while though.
Lost the very first hand to a rivered flush and thought it was gonna be a short night, but finished +$145 after about 3 hours of $1/$2 NL. Two hands of note.
T 8 in the CO. Game is really dull at this point, so I decide to try to loosen it up a bit. 3 limpers, I raise 4xBB, button calls, limpers call.
Flop comes 456 rainbow. We check around.
Turn is T . First two check, player to my immediate right bets $21(?), I pop it to $50, button folds, first two limpers fold. Original bettor reraises another $60. I'm 100% I'm beat, but in keeping with my donk style, I call.
River is 7 . Bettor to my right checks, I immediately go all-in for my last $150 or so and he instacalls. I flip my straight, and he throws his cards in the muck and shoves his chips in the middle. Clearly not too happy about how it turned out.
Later in the evening, sitting on about $650 now, I get A 6 in the SB. A bunch of limpers, so I complete, BB checks.
Flop comes AK6 rainbow. I lead for a little more than pot ($15). Folds around to the button who raises...well, I don't remember how much. It didn't really matter because I couldn't imagine I was behind on this board. I put him all in for his remaining $120, he calls and flips AKo.
Rhetorical Question: Why does limping with hands like this never work for me?
Anyway, I dragged a couple more small pots. Cracked a guy's AA with T9o, when he checked the flop blind and I turned trip T's. He only had about $40 though.
That's it. Nothing too exciting. No $6/$12 spread tonight. One pink chip game going, but all regulars and I didn't want to grind.

Counter-rhetorical: Why does a straight + flush draw never pay off for me...UNLESS I FOLD?
