This question is towards Sal or anyone been to vegas and knows what there is to do under 21. Any good shows or restaurants listed would be helpful. I won a WSOP seat, so I'll be down there. Any clubs that let in 18+ year olds?
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Just hand out around the bottom of the Stratosphere or downtown off the main drag and there is lots to do for all ages.
BTW-"I" won a seat and "it is for someone else" against the WSOP rules too.

I gave some poker books to my friends and they won a WSOP seat. Yeah, against the rules I'm sure....

From the WSOP website-just click on rules:
"Prizes and entries are non-transferable."
You were an idiot when you left, and you are dumberer now.

If by "My ban was removed" you mean that you registered a parachute account, then yes you are right. Goodbye.
Posted Tue May 23, 2006 11:27 pm GMT by bluef0xXx
... what are you talking about? I don't have an entry. I'm not trying to play in the WSOP. I'm not trying to transfer a seat.
Stop making yourself look silly.

I wasn't able to view these forums... now I am. I didn't change IP addresses, so I figured it was removed.

I solved the problem for you.
Posted Tue May 23, 2006 11:34 pm GMT by Dave B
"I won a WSOP seat" then you are a liar and stupid.
BTW-fraud is grounds for getting kicked out of the tourament too. Do you think playing as another player would be considered fraud? Moron.
Otherwise, Sean Rice or other online masters would have 200+ entries and have an army of partners.

Saying things about Bluefox when you have no idea what his seat story really is about is pretty dumb too.
But I guess jumping to conclusions and at someone's throat is easier.
Posted Tue May 23, 2006 11:36 pm GMT by Dave B
I was only going by his own words.
Maybe I should highlight the quotation marks for you so that it is more clear.
Posted Tue May 23, 2006 11:37 pm GMT by supafrey
Well I know the whole story, and while nothing he has said so far is a "lie", you still don't know the real story.
Should I have just quoted and said LAFF LAFF I HAVE A BIG PENIS instead?
Posted Tue May 23, 2006 11:39 pm GMT by Dave B
I do not see how it is logically possible that he wasnt lying.
Posted Tue May 23, 2006 11:39 pm GMT by supafrey
He wasn't.

"I won a seat"
How are all these true?
1) I won a seat, if yes, he cant play w/out transfering, if no, he is a liar
2) If he won it for someone else, then he is committing fraud

It would be like sending someone else to take an exam for you. What do you think a university would do if they found you doing that? If you said punt your ass out of school you are correct. Poker sites will take the same stance on WSOP seats if they catch you playing for someone else. Not to mention you are cheating the other players trying to qualify.

The rules say no fraud.
Fraud is: In the broadest sense, a fraud is a deception made for personal gain, although it has a more specific legal meaning, the exact details varying between jurisdictions. Many hoaxes are fraudulent, although those not made for personal gain are not best described in this way. Not all frauds are hoaxes - electoral fraud, for example. Fraud permeates many areas of life, including art, archaeology and science. In the broad legal sense a fraud is any crime or civil wrong for gain that utilises some deception practiced on the victim as its principal method.
In criminal law, fraud is the crime or offense of deliberately deceiving another in order to damage them — usually, to obtain property or services from him or her unjustly. 1. Fraud can be accomplished through the aid of forged objects. In the criminal law of common law jurisdictions it may be called "theft by deception," "larceny by trick," "larceny by fraud and deception" or something similar. Fraud can be committed through many methods, including mail, wire, phone, and the internet (Patent Fraud in Australia http://ipta-info.com and computer crime and internet fraud).
Dont you think playing as someone else is fraud? Like I said, if top pros won 50-100 seats for "friends" dont you see how that would compromise the integrity of the tourament?
Posted Tue May 23, 2006 11:57 pm GMT by supafrey
Thanks for the legal definition, that's exactly what i needed..
Btw, anyone who thinks that people don't win seats for their friends is deluding themselves.
Marcel Luske's "training school", ring a bell?
There's not a single site that aggressively prosecutes the matter, either. It's not fraud if noone is claiming damages.
Posted Wed May 24, 2006 12:02 am GMT by Dave B
Why isnt it fraud if no one is seeking damages? Are you implying that a crime is only committed if you get caught?
How is this different than that guy getting $110k taken away for saying he was playing as his grandma? Arent all the other players being hurt by a big prize being won via fraud?
Posted Wed May 24, 2006 12:16 am GMT by supafrey
My name is Dave B. If you owe any money to him, send it to me instead.
Did I just commit fraud?
Posted Wed May 24, 2006 12:19 am GMT by Dave B
